Spread Field

Distributes the value of the factor along the geometry from the specified index/selector to neighboring elements.

Settings

Domain – Geometry or spline.
Mode– Select the index or selection mode
Start Index/Selettion – input socket

Random Field – Sets the randomness for propagation, using noise rather than random
Weight – Weight for random fields. Enables control of the random field’s strength.
Factor – controls how a value propagates from the starting index/selection to the following elements.

This node is highly topology-dependent — topology strongly affects how values propagate. Uniform topology made of quads or Delaunay triangles works best.
