Box Fields

The box-shaped field is designed to control values

Settings

Domain Mode – Point and geometry domain. Effects on points or geometry. Points are also used for instances, for other cases, domain interpolation (Evaluate on Domain) is required.
Object – Object for field control
Rounded – The rounding force of the square, at high values there will be a sphere
Random fields – a random field for connection, random, noise or attributes.

Primary box

  • Weight – strength of the random field effect. Where 1 is the total impact.
  • Distance – offset field distances
  • Multiplier factor – multiplier of the final factor.

Inner Box

  • Weight – strength of the random field effect. Where 1 is the total impact.
  • Distance – offset field distances
  • Scale – The size of the inner box field, usually requires 0.5-.075 of the original.
  • Multiplier factor – multiplier of the final factor.

Clamp Axis – Additional dimension on 1 of the axis. For example, to get infinite on the X-axis.
Map Range – Remaps a value

The Colorramp or Float Curve is used to add softness or contrast to the values. You can also set different behaviors such as bounces

How to use
